Meeting Minutes October 2, 2021

The meeting was called to order at 12pm.

Members in attendance:

Stephanie, Katie, Vivian, Minh, Daniel, Emma, Cathy, Corine, Ax, John, Don,
Patrick, Norman

Vivian reviewed Septembers minutes.

Corine motions to accept Patrick seconded. The motions passed.

Minh reviewed the treasurer's report. Checking account, $1,030 and the
savings account, 351.08 Corine  motions to accept the report John seconded
and the report passed.

Presidential release will now be at 12pm est. 9am our time.

Vivian will contact Restaurants to have a fund raiser on either the 23rd or
the 30th, for meet the blind month.

Elections:

Position of Secretary:

Corine nominated Vivian Don seconded Vivian was elected.

The position of treasurer:

Patrick nominated Minh, Vivian seconded. Minh was elected.

State convention will be in Beaverton. It will also be on zoom.

You need to register in order to vote.

The rooms are $99 plus taxes per night. If you have a roommate you will only
pay one night.

The state will pay for a van for anyone needing a ride.

Stephanie called for a vote for the   chapter to pay for meals, it passed.

If you plan on attending in person you will need to prove vaccination status
or show a negative test within three (3) days of convention.

Patrick said the disability commission is sending a letter to the Governor
for the talking signals in town.

Marv won the gift card.
