on the phone due to the elevator being out here at my apartment, and due to

Southern Oregon Chapter

Meeting Minutes: April 3, 2021

The meeting was called to order at 12pm

Members in attendance:

Stephanie, Vivian, Katie, Patrick, Cathy, Corine, Ax, John, Norman, Ninh,
Daniel, John, Don, 

The minutes from February's meeting were not available.

Treasurers Report:

Checking account balance, $1,111.46

Daniel and Minh Turnbull's paid life time membership, $100  . $6 for the Pac
plan.

Savings account balance, $ 351.58

Vivian motion to accept the report, Patrick seconded.  The motion Passed.

Presidential release will be on May1 at 5pm pacific time.

National convention Will be anywhere and everywhere on July 6-11.

In order to register you must accept the code of conduct rules. There are
sales at the independence market. Stephanie will attend a rain training
seminar next week and will give us a report next month.

Next month we will have someone come and talk about non 24 sleep disorder.

Our meeting next  month will be on the First at 12pm. WE will meet in person
at the Lions Club and we will be having a pot luck afterwards.

Vivian will take care of updating member address list.

Washington seminar went well nationally. Carla  had a hard time getting
people to attend meetings with our senators. We still need someone to
support our Parents bill.

Stephanie has met a woman that is having trouble with DHS. They told her she
could not use her cane while visiting her child. They want to see how she
interacted with the child. Stephanie gave  the woman Carla's information.
Marv is also working on this at the local level.

Patrick's contact Jim Davis at the Oregon commission is sending a letter to
the Governor informing her that audible signals are important.

Minh won gift card.
