You are welcome. I knew that all of our Oregon chapters would benefit from the review of Missouri’s state convention. Katie

Hello fellow NFB members. Missouri just had there state convention virtually. They said that over all it went well. They did door prizes, but needed to confirm the winner over the phone. Only registered participants could be eligible to win. No chapters were able to fund raise, nor were they able to have an auction. They trained all hosts, and cohosts beforehand so that all of the break out cessions ran smoothly. To prevent zoom bombing it is recommended that you set up a waiting room for special events like the board meeting, and scholarship comittie. If you are going to have special events like a happy hour you need to know who is specifically coming so you can lockout unwanted participants. Each affiliate had their own zoom account for each sponsored event during the convention. Whit regard to Pac, and resolutions details for those activities were sent out ahead of time to make decision making easier. A voice vote was used for the resolutions, and the same could be done for pac. As far as the banquet the speech was streamed, and so were the scholarship winners. Thank you for your time and attention to this letter. If you have questions Missouri will be putting out this information on there chapter presidents list. Katie Taylor Vp. Southern Oregon chapter
