[Rose_City_Chapter] March chapter minutes

I am pasting the minutes from our March chapter meeting. Please let me know
if there any changes or corrections or if the minutes look good to you.

 

NFBO Rose City Chapter

Minutes March 16, 2024

 

                Kirk called the meeting to order at 10:30 AM. Members
attending the meeting in person were: Kirk Wagner, Tracey Boyd, Joy Relton,
Carolyn Brock, Lindsey Dorm, Mayra & Manny Gonzalez, and Cody Hermeling.
Members attending by phone are Jerry Hathaway, Ryan McBee, Jeff Anderson,
Justice Chukwu, and Cherri Wagner. Guests attending the meeting were: Devon
Driscoll, RideWise Travel Instructor, Carina Solis Ride Connection Community
Outreach Specialist, and Jim Portillo. We had introductions members
attending the meeting  and Icebreaker what is your biggest challenge in
traveling within the Portland area? or what is your favorite trip to take in
the Portland area? Devon Driscoll, RideWise Travel Instructor, Carina Solis
Ride Connection Community Outreach Specialist gave a presentation about Ride
Connection program and the services they provide and they also answer
questions from chapter members. Tracy Boyd made a motion to have the minutes
from our February chapter meeting be approved as distributed with Ryan McBee
seconding the motion and the motion was passed by the members attending the
meeting. Tracy Boyd made a motion to have the Treasurer's report be table to
our next chapter meeting and there was a second to the motion and the motion
was passed by the members attending the meeting. Ryan McBee received a
chapter list from Jerry Hathaway and he is working to put together a list of
Legislatures members that chapter members who live in their districts can
contact them for Legislatures activities that may be of concern for the
chapter and NFB in Oregon. Tracy Boyd won the 50-50 drawing and she donated
it back to the chapter. Kirk adjourn the meeting.
