Hello fellow NFB members. The employment division of the NFB held another where the blind work seminar this evening. It featured a graphic designer, a financial planner, and the CEO of a GPS company. The panelists would like job seekers to know that it is important to have good mobility training. They would also like you to know that following up on a job interview is important. Show your confidence, and skills during a job interview so that the perspective employers can see that you are competent. The interviewers may see that you can do the job. For young job seekers under the age of thirty volunteer to get experience so you can have skills to show at a job interview. Thank you for your time and attention. Katie VP. Southern Oregon chapter

Every day we raise the expectations of blind people, because low expectations create obstacles between blind people and our dreams. You can live the life you want; blindness is not what holds you back.
