I think that $30-$35 for dinner is not unreasonable.  I saw that Katie said that the restaurant was not big enough.  You might look into the Rogue Regency Conference rooms with catering, or another hotel.  That way you could get a private room.  There are probably other restaurants with similar arrangements.
