Minutes, May 2, 2020

 

Members in attendance:

Stephanie, Marven, Katie, Vivian Chrissy, Cathy, Mihn, Daniel, John, Norman,
Lynette, Corine

 

Cathy read the treasurer report. Katie motion to accept, Marvin seconded and
the motion passed.

Treasurer Report for our April 30, 2020 meeting:

Katie and Chrissy spoke about the presidential release. President Riccobono
says to register soon for National convention, July 14-18. they  need to
make accomadations for deaf/blind and Spanish speakers and other.
Registration closes on June 15 and there is no cost.

They are working on what platform will be used possibly soom

National is asking states and their Chapters and divisions to send door
prizes. Lynette suggest the chapter send a $50 Amazon gift card as a door
prize for national convention. It passed unanimously

They are looking into how to have an exhibit hall.

Plans for the Bell Acadamy are being made. The families will get supplies by
mail and will have daily contact with teachers.

Carla and the board would like to meet in Euegene on July 16-18 to be apart
of national convention and banquet. The state affiliate wil cover the hotel
and food. Members need to pay for their  transportation.

Each chapter will donate a gift card to be raffled off at state convention.
We will give a wal-mart card. The chapter that sells the winning ticket will
get a portion of what we earned.

 

Mihn announced they are expecting a baby. Congradulations!

Vivian won the Dutch Bros. Card.

 

The meeting was adjourned at 12:35.
