Hi all,

 

I haven't heard much about this, but did listen to a podcast where a man
demonstrates using it. He was very clear that the smart cane is not a
substitute for good O&M skills, and that the user needs to have good cane
skills for lower body protection. Here is the link to the podcast if anyone

Hello Out There - This was a Christmas Present to one of my more insistent
clients - has anyone had experience with this device, has anyone heard
anything good or bad?  She cc'd Carla McQuillan in on her request for
training, but it seems like NFB might not be supportive of this artificial
smart device!  Thanks in advance - Kathleen
