I am pasting the minutes from our September chapter meeting. Please take a look at them and let me know if there any corrections, changes, or if the minutes look good to you.

Rose City Chapter
Minutes September 19, 2020

Kirk called the virtual chapter meeting to order at 10:30 AM. Members attending the meeting were: Kirk & Cherri Wagner, Ryan McBee, Jerry Hathaway, Joyce Green, Carolyn Brock, and Mary Ann Mendez. Joyce Green made a motion to have the minutes approved as distributed with Carolyn Brock seconding the motion and the motion was passed by the members attending the meeting. Joyce Green gave the Treasurer’s report with a beginning balance of $1,114.44 and the ending balance is $1,107.44. Jerry Hathaway made a motion to have the Treasurer’s report be approved as read with Mary Ann Mendez seconding the motion and the motion was passed by the members attending the meeting. Kirk played the Presidential release for September. Kirk informed us that there will be a voting seminar coming up on September 29th on zoom. Kirk reminded us that Carolyn Brock did not have time at the August meeting to tell about herself and Kirk asked Carolyn if she want to take this time to talk about herself. Carolyn deferred from talking about herself when Mary Ann Mendez came back to the meeting. Kirk told us that the state convention will be November 13-15, 2020. The affiliate board has not chosen to make a decision on whether the state convention will be persons attending in person or totally put on virtual using Zoom. Cherri Wagner gave her feelings about the decision dealing with state convention and we had a discussion about the issue of attending the state convention in person or having it viewed on virtual media. Cherri Wagner made a motion to have Kirk draft a letter to the state president to express the chapter wishes to have the state convention to be entirely virtual media to protect and maintain the health of members of the affiliate and Carolyn Brock second the motion and the motion was passed by the members attending the meeting. Kirk adjourned the meeting at 12:30 PM.
