Greetings All, and Happy New Year!

At our State Convention in November, we talked about having a Members Seminar in person the weekend of March 4-6. Some of the things we talked about doing was some hands on technology workshops, discussion and plans for our 2022 NFB BELL Academy, and some philosophy and Leadership discussions.

We have chosen a very lovely place called the Boulder Falls Conference Center in Lebenon. Because it is not easily accessible by public transportation, the Board has decided to cover transportation, which will be arranged by the chapters. Anyone who is not affiliated with a chapter should contact me about transportation.

In addition, the Board has elected to pay for the meal package. The room rates are $105/night, and that would be the responsiblility of the members. The room rate includes a full hot breakfast. Meals provided in the meal package will be dinner Friday night, lunch and dinner on Saturday, and a box lunch on Sunday.

If you plan to attend the Members Seminar, please make your room reservation by contacting me via email or phone, no later than February 1. Your chapters may or may not be offering some assistance for the room cost, but I will need to know your plans regardless.

National Convention Financial Assistance Requests
Our National Convention will be held in person this summer! It will be in New Orleans from July 5-10th. Anyone who would like to go to convention, and wishes to receive financial assistance from the affiliate must write a letter, including the following information:
* Positions held in the organization
* What meetings you plan to attend that will help build the Federation
* How much you are requesting
* Any other information you think would help the committee in their decisions to offer assistance

Please note that all members receiving financial assistance from the affiliate will be asked to work in some capacity while at the convention. This will include working in the NFB store, and most definitely, selling Oregon cheese on the Convention floor.

Requests must be emailed to me no later than March 1. A committee will meet during the Members Seminar to determine who will receive assistance, and how much.

Please feel free to contact me with any questions.
