National Federation of the Blind of Oregon Hosts Voting Workshop for Blind or Visually Impaired Oregonians

The right and the responsibility to vote are both key tenants of democracy, because a democratic system doesn't function without citizen input. It is also important for civic organizations to have members who vote, so that they can better influence elected officials.

The National Federation of the Blind of Oregon is holding a virtual voting workshop on September 29th at 7 PM PDT.  Members of the Oregon NFB along with guest speakers will share tools and resources to enable blind or visually impaired voters to successfully cast their own ballot. The webinar will be captioned.
