Greetings Everyone,


With our convention being virtual this year, here’s an electronic alternative for fulfilling door prizes.  You can purchase eGift cards on smile.amazon.com website link shown below.  This link will direct you to the eGift card page on  amazon smile site.  You have the option of selecting the National Federation of the Blind of Oregon as the organization to receive donations.  For each eligible purchase, Amazon will donate a small portion of your orders to our state affiliate.

When you purchase a gift card, you can select recipient information and have the card sent to the winner.  With this scenario, you will pick the Company (i.e. Best Buy, DoorDash, Uber, etc.) and denomination of the card and provide that to the planning committee.  We will then compile a list of electronic door prizes together and present them during convention.  Participants will provide contact information (email specifically). When a winner is selected, the chapter or individual providing the door prize will sent the electronic gift card by end of the week following convention.  

Alternatively, if you would like to buy a gift card or gift certificate from a restaurant, hotel, or other business instead of an electronic card, you may give the card information to the planning committee, and then you can mail the card directly to the winner, or you can mail the card to me, and I will send it out to the winner. If you choose to send it to me, please put it in the mail no later than November 10th.

Regardless of how you choose to purchase or send the card, we still need an email stating the value of the card, and the business or service.
