[NFB-Oregon-Announce] Gathering During National Convention

Hello All,

I think I have heard from all the members who were offered assistance to the National Convention, regarding their intent to attend our small, in person affiliate gathering on July 16-18.  At this time, we still have space for other members who are interested in attending. I have heard from some of you already, but I am sure there are others who might be interested.

If you would like to come to the Phoenix Inn in Eugene for the afternoon of Thursday, July 16, concluding with the banquet on Saturday evening, July 18, the Oregon Affiliate would cover the cost of your meals and hotel (based on a double occupancy).  Transportation to and from Eugene would be your responsibility.  Check with your chapter about transportation, because some of the chapters are planning transportation for their members.  We plan to stream the convention General Sessions and have evening activities for all, including anyone who is attending convention from home.  We will have our own door prizes, as well as those being given by National.

If this sounds like something that you would be interested in attending, please contact me no later than next Wednesday, June 10.  We will be posting registration on our website in a couple of weeks.
