This list is sponsored by the National Federation of the Blind, NFB, and the NFB of Vermont. The purpose of this list is to provide timely updates, information and news items to the members of the National Federation of the Blind of Vermont, regarding activities of the state affiliate, national organization and to inform the members of general information because many of them are new to the organization. The NFB-Vermont mailing list also exists to facilitate and encourage conversation among the members of the National Federation of the Blind of Vermont. Topics for discussion include but are not limited to new ways of addressing old problems blind people face, plans for events such as arrangements for conventions and ideas for fund-raisers at the affiliate level. Everyone is welcome, including blind Vermonters of all ages, parents and family members of blind children & adults, service providers, and anyone who shares an interest in topics relevant to blind Vermonters. Discussions must be civil and respectful at all times. The list is moderated by Kristofer James Pregent. Subscribing to NFB-VT
