Saving account $351<o:p></o:p></p><p class="MsoNormal">John made motion to accept the report, Patrick seconded the motion passed.<o:p></o:p></p><p class="MsoNormal">State Convention:<o:p></o:p></p><p class="MsoNormal">The dates for convention are November 12-14.<o:p></o:p></p><p class="MsoNormal">The hotel in Cottage Grove will not be available, so State convention will be in either Florence or Seven feathers. It will be in person and virtual.<o:p></o:p></p><p class="MsoNormal">Presidential Release:<o:p></o:p></p><p class="MsoNormal">President Riccobono would like us to contact our representatives regarding our legislative issues including, the accessible technology Affordability Act.<o:p></o:p></p><p class="MsoNormal">He also wants chapters and divisions to start thinking about Meet the Blind Month activities.<o:p></o:p></p><p class="MsoNormal">October 15<sup>th</sup> is white cane day.<o:p></o:p></p><p class="MsoNormal">Bring your ideas to the September meeting.<o:p></o:p></p><p class="MsoNormal">President Riccobono also would like people not to pay a lifetime membership, he prefers people to pay yearly. If you move to another state the lifetime payment does not follow you.<o:p></o:p></p><p class="MsoNormal">People liked the national convention meetings.
