Hello everyone,

Some of you may not have seen the info about the upcoming NFB of Washington State Convention in Vancouver February 29 through March 2. As you’ll see here, it is shaping up to be quite an event. Deadline to register for the convention and hotel is February 11, so you still have a few days.

Carla McQuillan sent Chapter Presidents a couple of notes about the event, I am passing them along to you. Rose City is the nearest chapter in Oregon to this event, let’s impress them with our number attending.

Hello Chapter Presidents,

Below is the information about the Washington State Convention. We would like for some of our members to attend the convention which will be in Vancouver February 29 to March 2. If you, or any of your chapter members, are interested in going, the affiliate will cover the cost of half of the room, based on a double occupancy, banquet, and registration. You will be responsible for transportation and any meals other than banquet. If you plan to have a single room, we will only cover half of the cost.

If you would like to attend, please register for the convention, and send me your registration confirmation, and we will reimburse you for the room, banquet, and registration.

If you plan to go, but will be paying your own way, please let me know so I have you down as an Oregon member at convention.

Hey All,

I talked to Marci to see when things start on Friday. She said that they will start on Thursday evening at 6 with a Board Meeting. Break outs start on Friday morning. I think we will not be paying for Thursday night at the hotel, but most people could reasonably arrive in Bancouver by early to mid morning. I might consider a request from someone coming from south of Eugene to attend a particular session, but otherwise, we will cover 2 nights, not 3.
