Members attending the meeting were: Kirk & Cherri Wagner, Ryan McBee, Jerry Hathaway, Joy Relton, Carolyn Brock, and Jack & Mary Ann Mendez. Guest attending the meeting is Tom Evans from Hanford, California. Kirk explained that he Is doing a topic subject as an ice breaker each meeting and invited chapter members to give him any ice breaker topic ideas to use at our chapter meetings. The ice breaker topic he chose for today meeting is what household item no longer available due to technological advances or the need no longer exists. Joy Relton made a motion to have the chapter minutes from our December meeting be approved as distributed with Mary Ann Mendez seconding the motion and the motion was passed by the members attending the meeting. Joy Relton gave the Treasurer’s report with a beginning balance December of $909.71 the ending balance in December is $897.71, the beginning balance in January is $897.71 and the ending balance in January is $885.71. Carolyn Brock made a motion to have the Treasurer’s report be approve as read with Jerry Hathaway seconding the motion and the motion was passed by the members attending the meeting. Joy Relton reminded members that chapter membership dues need to be sent in or paid on the NFB of Oregon web page. Kirk Wagner will send Joy Relton mailing address to the chapter list serve and will also add the link for the paid on line at the NFB of Oregon web site. Kirk Wagner mention that we would like to clean up the chapter membership list and that he will send out a e-mail to members on the chapter list to see if they still want to be a member of the chapter. Kirk brought the subject of sending a reminder chapter agenda and there was a discussion about if members would mind receiving a reminder agenda. Members agree that they will not mind receiving a reminder agenda. Kirk mention that the committee to find a new meeting location will get together and discuss it. Kirk asked members if they have any ideas or thoughts on finding a new location to let any of the committee members know. Kirk said that he will asked on one of the next NFB chapter president list to ask how chapters are moving from Zoom platform and returning to in person location chapter meetings. Kirk reminded members as they look through the Braille Monitor and see any articles that will make a good discussion at our chapter meetings should let Kirk know about the article. Kirk played the Presidential release for January. Kirk remind members that the celebration of life for Scott LaBARRE using Zoom will be later this afternoon. Ryan McBee gave a brief update on Washington Legislative  seminar and the upcoming Salem Legislative  seminar. Kirk adjourned the chapter meeting.
