Hi all,

My apologies to Jerry and the rest of you. I could not get the bank statement to download properly when Jerry called and I misread my notes. I’m blaming it all on technology.

Anyway, here is the correct treasurer’s report for the month of October to November.

The beginning balance was $797.71. We had deposits of $37.00 and withdrawals of $37.00. So, the final balance as of November 16 was $797.71.

Don’t forget to bring your money for the 50-50 drawing. Oh yes, I would be glad to collect any dues that you want to bring.

Thanks so much for all of your patience.

Joy

Hi Jerry et al,

I need to correct the treasurer’s report as reported by Jerry because I misread the amounts. My apologies as my errors have to do with technical difficulties. The corrections are as follows:

The beginning Balance on the date of our September meeting was $809.71

The beginning balance for our October treasurer’s report was $797.71 after PAC plan.

The beginning balance is $797.71.

The ending balance for November is $760.71 after PAC plan and cash withdrawal.

Again my apologies to Jerry and the rest of you. The treasurer’s report will be better for this coming meeting.

Yours,

Joy

October meeting was: $797.71 after the Pac Plan payment

This was the beginning balance for November. We had two withdrawals for a total of $37.00

The ending balance was $760.71.

This is totally my fault for mis reading the numbers and I will update the chapter with the current balance with deposits at our meeting on Saturday.

Again, Jerry was diligent in checking with me and I imply had a problem with technology resulting in my finger landing on the wrong line.

Kirk called the chapter meeting to order at 10:30 AAM. Members attending the meeting in person were: Kirk Wagner, Joy Relton, Carolyn Brock, and guest Jeff Anderson. On the telephone Cherri Wagner, Jerry Hathaway, and Cody Hemerling. Kirk asked members as an introduction Icebreaker topic: If you observe Thanksgiving, what is your favorite part of the meal is cooking or eating the meal? If not what do you do instead of a traditional Thanksgiving meal? Joy Relton made a motion to have the September minutes approve as distributed with Cherri Wagner seconding the motion and the motion was passed by the members attending the meeting. Cherri Wagner made a motion to have the October minutes approve as distributed with Joy Relton seconding the motion and the motion was passed by members attending the meeting. Joy Relton gave the Treasurer’s report with a beginning balance of $809.71 and the ending balance is $834.71. Cherri Wagner made a motion to have the Treasurer’s report approved as read with Jerry Hathaway seconding the motion and the motion was passed by members attending the meeting. Joy Relton reminded members that dues for next are due and be paid to her, check mail to her, or paid online on the NFBO website. Carla McQuillan will ask Sean Carlson to write a check from Portland Central Chapter to NFB of Oregon for the balance of their bank account and close the account. The affiliate Treasurer will then write a check for that amount payable to Rose City Chapter. In this way those that helped raise the money should benefit from it. We had the drawing of the 50-50. Capital One Cafe will not allow food to be brought in so Kirk will contact them about providing holiday refreshments for ten at our December chapter meeting. In affiliate and chapter news Kirk reported the Oregon affiliate may make financial assistance available to active members to attend NFB of Washington’s State Convention in Vancouver February 29 through March 3 there will be more information coming. Linn-Benton Chapter’s holiday fundraiser selling See’s Candy is running through the end of November. There have been initial discussions to revitalize the state At Large chapter. It was decided to postpone officer elections until the December meeting because so few members were in attendance. There was discussion about Jerry Hathaway not seeking reelection as chapter secretary. After a little urging Jerry agreed to run again if the chapter members wanted him to. Jerry had emailed Kirk the list of member contact information he has. Kirk said he would make some updates to the list and send it to Jerry and to Joy. Kirk played the Presidential release for November. Kirk adjourned the chapter meeting.
