[Rose_City_Chapter] July chapter meeting minutes

I am pasting the minutes from our July chapter meeting. Please take a look at them and let me know if there any changes or corrections or if the minutes look good to you.

NFB of Oregon Rose city Chapter

Minutes July 15, 2023

 

                                Kirk Wagner called the meeting to order at 10:30 AM. Members attending the meeting were: Kirk & Cherri Wagner, Ryan McBee, Jerry Hathaway, Jack Mendez Carolyn Brock and Tracy Boyd. Kirk asked members for the chapter introduction icebreaker What blind skills such as mobility, technology, or recreation are you the most proud of mastering? Cherri Wagner made a motion to have the minutes from the July chapter meeting approved as distributed and was second by Jack Mendez and the motion was passed by the members attending the meeting. Kirk Wagner read the Treasurer’s report that Joy Relton sent to him with the beginning balance of $845.71 and the ending balance is $833.71. Jack Mendez made a motion to have the Treasurer’s report be approved as read with Cherri Wagner seconding the motion and the motion was passed by the members attending the meeting. Kirk told us that state convention will be October 6-8 and will be at the Hilton Garden Inn in Springfield, Oregon. Members who attend National convention both in person and virtual on Zoom told us about their experiences at National convention. Members of the chapter meeting location gave a report of possible chapter meeting locations that the chapter might be able to use to have in person chapter meetings. There is no Presidential release for the month of July because National convention that was held earlier in July. Kirk adjourn the chapter meeting.
