Thanks, Jerry, for circulating the minutes.   I was not at the meeting, so can’t comment on the content.  However, I think that e-mailing the minutes helps absentees to keep connected.

NFBO Rose City Chapter

Minutes December 18, 2021

                Kirk Wagner called the meeting to order at 10:30 AM. Members attending the meeting were: Kirk & Cherri Wagner, Ryan McBee, Jerry Hathaway, Carolyn Brock, Jerry Garafolo, and Jack Mendez. Tom Evans from Hanford, California join us again as a guest to our meeting. Kirk ask the members to share their favorite Christmas song. Cherri Wagner made a motion to have the minutes from our November chapter meeting be approved as distributed with Carolyn Brock seconding the motion and the motion was passed by the members attending the meeting. Cherri Wagner gave the Treasurer’s report with a beginning balance of $995.00 and the ending balance is $983.00. Jerry Hathaway made a motion to have the Treasurer’s report approved as read with Jack Mendez seconding the motion and the motion was passed by the members attending the meeting. Cherri Wagner said that she is still collecting dues from members who have not paid them yet. Members can paid dues online at the NFBO website or mail the dues to Cherri Wagner home address of 448 NW Riverview Way, Greshem, OR 97030. Chapter dues is still $5.00 per year. Checks should be made to Rose City Chapter. Kirk told us that the Membership Seminar will be March 4-6, 2022 and will be at the Boulder Falls Inn in Lebanon, Oregon. Kirk then asked members if they had read the Hull’s Foundation newsletter and their thoughts about the newsletter. Kirk played the Presidential release for December. Cherri Wagner made a proposal as a suggestion of changing our checking account which is at US Bank to a credit union. Members gave their comments and concerns in moving our checking account to a credit union and Cherri will research and find out information that will deal with the comments and concerns of chapter members and give a report at our next chapter meeting. Kirk adjourn the meeting at 12:30 PM.
