I am enclosing the minutes from our March chapter meeting. Please take a look at them and let me know if there any changes or corrections or if they look good to you.

Meeting Minutes March 19, 2022

 

                Kirk Wagner called the meeting to order at 10:30 AM. Members attending the meeting were: Kirk & Cherri Wagner, Ryan McBee, Jerry Hathaway, Joyce Green, Jerry  Garafolo, Jack & Mary Ann Mendez. The guest attending the meeting again who is Tom Evans from Hanford, California. Kirk asked members to share any other organizations that they belong to and enjoy their activity in the organization. Cherri Wagner made a motion to approve the minutes from our February chapter meeting that were distributed with Mary Ann Mendez seconding the motion and the motion was passed by members attending the meeting. Cherri Wagner gave the Treasurer’s report with a beginning balance of $1,098.71 and the ending balance is $1, 086.71. Joyce Green made a motion to have the Treasurer’s report approved as read with Jerry Hathaway seconding the motion and the motion was passed by the members attending the meeting. Kirk gave a report about the Oral Hull meeting he attended. It was suggested we create a committee about doing a panel discussion on one of Oral Hull’s zoom room events later on this year and seeing how we can get information about NFB involved or activated with Oral Hull. Ryan and Kirk gave a report about Salem Seminar to the members. Cherri commented that it was difficult for blind persons to navigate around the hotel and the meeting locations and that she said that the food was good and well planned out. Kirk played the Presidential release for March. Kirk inform members that if they want to be involved with Oregon’s Bell academy to send him an e-mail and he will add them to the Bell Academy information list. Kirk will send out an e-mail on the chapter list serve for members who want to be on a committee on working with Oral Hull. Kirk adjourned the meeting.
