Carolyn Brock made a motion to have the October minutes approved as distributed with Joyce Green seconding the motion and the motion was passed by the members attending the meeting. Joyce Green gave the Treasurer’s report with a beginning balance of $902.00 and the ending balance is $995.00. Carolyn Brock made a motion to have the Treasurer’s report be approved as read and Cherri Wagner second the motion and the motion was passed by the members attending the meeting. Kirk asked members if they are still looking for Braille Monitor articles that can be use as topic ideas to discuss at chapter meetings and members told Kirk that they still want to have Braille Monitor articles be used as topic discussions when a good article is found in the Braille Monitor. Kirk asked members if anyone attended the exhibit forum on Thursday evening. Jack Mendez said that he was involved in the exhibit forum and that there might be a access and user seminar at the state affiliate membership seminar. Members then told us their impressions about state convention of those who attend state convention in person or by virtual  attendance by using Zoom. Member seminar was announce at state convention and it will be the first weekend in March and it will be somewhere around central Oregon and depend which hotel location Carla can get for membership seminar. Kirk asked Joyce Green if she wanted to say anything about the award that she received at state convention. Kirk played the Presidential release for November. Kirk asked Ryan McBee if the Commission for the Blind does any type of activity for their clients or vendors and Ryan told us that the Commission does not do any activities for their clients or vendors. Cherri Wagner explained that our chapter might donate to an organization or group that give aid or help during the holidays. Joyce Green said that blind persons as members of their community can receive aid, help, or services from their community. Carolyn Brock suggested that we give a donation to a group or organization that give services to those in need during the holiday season. Joyce Green suggested that we might give a donation to KEX Kids who give glasses and hearing aids to children. Cherri Wagner made a motion to donate $25.00 to the KEX Kids Fund with Carolyn seconding the motion and the motion was passed by the members attending the meeting. We then had elections for the officers for the Rose City chapter. Kirk Wagner was nominated for president of the Rose City chapter and was elected President by the members attending the meeting. Ryan McBee was nominated for the officer of Vice President and was elected Vice President by the members attending the meeting. Jerry Hathaway was nominated for the office of Secretary and was elected for the office of Secretary by the members attending the meeting. Cherri Wagner was nominated for the office of Treasurer and was elected for the office of Treasurer by the members attending the meeting. Kirk adjourned the Meeting.
