[NFB-Oregon-Announce] Legislative Seminar

Greetings All,

I hope the New Year is treating you all well.

We will be holding our Legislative Seminar at the Shilo Inn, located at 3304 Market Street NE, on March 4th and 5th.  Then on Monday, March 6th we will go to the Capitol to meet with our state Representatives and Senators to discuss matters that affect blind Oregonians.  At this time, we are working on a bill that would ensure protections for blind and disabled parents and guardians from unwarranted scrutiny from government agencies.  There may be additional issues as the legislative session moves along, and other bills of interest or concern arise.

Seminar Details
The seminar will begin with lunch at noon on Saturday, March 4th.   
Hotel room rates are $109 per night, and includes breakfast.  
The meal package, which includes lunch and dinner on Saturday and Sunday, is $50.  Please email me to registerfor the seminar.  Registration deadline is February 15th.  Please do not make a reservation directly with the hotel.
