  • This year's state convention theme is "Travel - 'oh, the places you’ll go'” (Dr. Seuss).
  • Shawn Callaway, President, National Federation of the Blind of District of Columbia will be at our convention representing National President Riccobono and National Federation of the Blind.

Convention Hotel

State Convention will be held Friday afternoon October 30 through midday Sunday November 1 at Hilton Garden Inn, 15520 N. W. Gateway Court, Beaverton, Oregon. Nightly guest room rate is $125  (approximately $143 including local taxes and fees). Hotel breakfast is included with your stay. 

Registration

Convention registration will be $10 for all attending. Session presenters and guests are encouraged to register for the convention. The registration and payment web pages will be available soon.

Portland Spirit Dinner Cruse

All registering for state convention are invited and encouraged to join us Friday afternoon and early evening, October 30, for a dinner cruse aboard the Portland Spirit. Dinner meal choices will be made at boarding but will be posted here ahead of time. Transportation will be available between the hotel and departure location and back to the hotel afterword. More about this will be in the agenda. This event is made possible, at no cost to those registered for the convention, by generous grants from Waymo and the Josie F. Tilgner Trust. Additional funding by National Federation of the Blind of Oregon.

Meals

Saturday and Sunday breakfasts are included for hotel guests. Saturday lunch, $20 and Saturday banquet, $30 will be available during the convention weekend. Meal choices will be presented on the registration page when available.
